Primarily, the purpose of fitness testing is to measure an individual's physical fitness and/or performance and to guide training based on the findings of the test. Monitoring progress refers to a longer-term process where tests and/or evaluations are systematically integrated into the training process, providing a deeper understanding and valuable information on training directions at desired moments. The three-campus sports institute offers a wide range of monitoring progress and fitness testing services for all ages and levels—athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and those interested in their well-being and health fitness.
The three-campus fitness testing can be divided into three main areas: endurance testing, strength and speed testing, and health fitness testing. The monitoring progress services are primarily tailored to the needs of the individual and group, including the collection of preliminary data, the execution of tests themselves, the analysis of results, and the customization of individual expert feedback and training instructions.
Our selection includes a wide range of options for measuring and assessing body composition, mobility and body control, strength and speed characteristics, and endurance characteristics across different campuses. Our operations also take place outside the campuses when necessary within the three-campus influence area in southern Finland. The three-campus sports institute combines the strengths of these two campuses by offering a wide range of testing services that support the comprehensive development of athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
