The Three Campus Sports Institute trains coaches and instructors for athletes and movers of different ages and developmental stages. We offer targeted training for those working with children (e.g., children's coaches in clubs, early childhood educators, afternoon exercise clubs that follow the hobby model) as well as for coaches of athletes in selection and elite phases.
We regularly organize coach training such as those following the principles of the VOK and the Finnish coaching competence model (VOK training), supplementary training "Coach to become an Athlete," as well as seminars and tailored courses. We also offer training in online environments, such as an online course for observing children's motor skills.
The guiding principles of our training activities include: developing coaching competence by integrating up-to-date evidence-based information with good everyday practices, participatory and learner-centered learning, sharing of expertise, cooperation and interaction, and experiential learning. The goal is to develop each coach's holistic understanding of sports coaching across different ages and developmental stages and to enhance the coach's ability to apply knowledge and skills practically in their daily work.
The design, implementation, and organization of the Three Campus Sports Institute's coach training are overseen by sports and exercise experts.
