Hiking and Camping

Discover the fantastic hiking areas at Pajulahti and Kisakallio! Both of our campuses are nestled in nature and offer excellent terrain for outdoor activities and hiking.

Pajulahti has a route connection to the natural pride of the Lahti region, Lapakisto. Lapakisto is a nature reserve spreading over 230 hectares, with five marked trails running across 23 km.
In addition to Lapakisto's trails, our terrain includes guidance for the mountain bike trail Kevätpuronpolku, which starts from the Adventure Park area, as well as Lasse's fitness tracks, which serve as fitness tracks in the summer and ski trails in the winter.  Lasse's fitness tracks pay tribute to Pajulahti's CEO Lasse Mikkelsson for his years 2006-2019. The fitness tracks are open for all outdoor enthusiasts.

In addition to the trails marked in the terrain, the Pajulahti area offers a wide range of routes for different fitness levels (mountain biking, gravel biking, road cycling, hiking & canoeing, road and trail running, and skiing).

Kisakallio's Karnaistenkorpi hiking trails offer paths ranging from 2 kilometers to 7.7 kilometers. Karnaistenkorpi features a guided nature trail, a story trail for children, Korkiamäki hiking trail, and mountain bike routes. You can find the trails and their distances in the Karnaisten hiking map.

You can access Karnaistenkorpi from Kisakallio via its own connecting path, but the best access to the nature trails is from Jantoniementie and Suoniementaipale, where there are signs for parking locations. At the starting points, you will find information boards that provide additional details about the area.

Starting point: Suoniementaival 28, 08350 Lohja or Jantoniementie 117, 08350 Lohja

Cycling

Lohja Kisakallio and Lahti Pajulahti welcome cyclists to stay, eat, enjoy the sauna, have fun, and explore the nearby nature. At our service point, you will receive the best tips for local cycling and outdoor routes.

Pajulahti offers mountain, gravel, and road cycling routes for cyclists of all levels. A large part of our routes is also wheelchair-friendly.

Kisakallio does not have constructed cycling routes. Fitness trails and maintenance trails to nearby Sorvalampi and Ahvenalampi lean-tos offer pleasant local cycling opportunities with a mountain bike. It's important to take notice of the elevation differences. Cyclists staying in Kisakallio can wash their bike and get a locked storage space for it. Mention the need for bike storage already when making your accommodation reservation or upon arrival at Kisakallio.
