Information Security Incident at the Pajulahti Campus
An information security incident affecting part of the ICT environment has been detected at the Pajulahti campus of the Three Campus Sports Institute. The incident has been reported to the authorities, and corrective actions are well underway. No specific actions are required from customers.
What happened?
A cyberattack targeted part of the ICT environment at the Pajulahti campus, as a result of which part of the server environment was corrupted. The investigation has found that an unauthorized party gained access to some systems and possibly to data stored within them.
Because the data cannot be technically identified with precision, we are unable to notify individual persons of a possible data breach.
What actions have been taken?
- The affected systems and environments have been isolated, and repair work has begun.
- The legally required notifications have been submitted to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman and the National Cyber Security Centre Finland (NCSC-FI) at Traficom, and a criminal report has been filed with the Police.
- The investigation and follow-up are being carried out in accordance with the guidance of the National Cyber Security Centre and the advice of experts.
Are any actions required from customers?
The incident does not require any special actions from our customers or partners. However, in line with good general information security practice, we recommend remaining vigilant against possible scam messages.
