European Curling Elite meets again in Kisakallio

31 October 2025

The Sports Institute of Three Campuses, Kisakallio campus will host the A-Division European Curling Championships from November 22nd to 29th. The European Championships are being held in the same place for the first time in consecutive years. Kisakallio is also an experienced host for international tournaments – in the 2023–2024 season, three World Curling competitions were organized on the campus.

A-Division competitions are the most significant and high-level curling tournaments in the world after the Olympics and World Championships, and all the best countries in Europe will participate.

B-Division competitions in Pajulahti

For the first time, the B-Division competitions will be held at the sports institute’s second campus in Pajulahti, an Olympic and Paralympic training center. Pajulahti's versatile facilities and experience in organizing sports events ensure a successful competition.

World Curling's competition manager Eeva Rothlisberger comments:
"It's great to return to Kisakallio to continue the success of last year's European Championships. Kisakallio's world-class facilities and commitment to top-level sports make it a perfect competition venue. We are also looking forward to the B-Division competitions in Pajulahti."

The Sports Institute of Three Campuses event director, Laura Kittelä, adds:
"For the first time in history, we get to host both A- and B-Division competitions simultaneously at the Kisakallio and Pajulahti campuses. It's also great to see Finland's men's team in the home B-Division competitions. Thanks to World Curling for this opportunity!"
