Pajulahti has a cooperation agreement with the largest Finnish federations representing combat and strength sports. The sports with the most camps are judo, karate, boxing, and wrestling. Pajulahti's facilities also transform into competition and event arenas, such as the Muay Thai Nordic Championships, the Nordic Open of taido, the summer camp of Hokutoryu Jujutsu, and the Finnish Championships of freestyle wrestling.
The equipment of the renovated combat arena in Pajulahti in the summer of 2025:
- judo tatami 18 x 24 m
- karate tatami 18 x 24 m
- elevated competition ring and training ring for boxing, as well as 8 bags
- crosstraining and strength training area
- additionally, 3 wrestling mats can be installed in the arena
The facilities for combat sports can be expanded into the adjacent 1000 square meter sports hall.
Kamppailuareena gym
The gym of the combat arena is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is available free of charge for residents. The gym is not available for private customers during group reservations. Please check the reservation status at our reception before arrival. You can find the reception contact information here.
The gym of the combat arena is especially focused on functional training. Excellent for crosstraining as well as the use of free weights.
